PDF Installation Instructions

Features:

  • Battery operated
  • RF transmission
  • 100 Foot range
  • 16 unit control.

The Home Automation RF Remote works with either an X-10 PRO Security System, such as the PR02000 or with a Transceiver Module (PAT01)to provide remote control of lights and appliances from anywhere in the house.

Setting up the Home Automation Remote

  1. Set the codewheel on the Home Automation Remote to the same House Code as the Security

  2. System or the Transceiver Module (PAT01).

  3. Fit four AAA Alkaline batteries in the battery compartment in the back of the remote.

  4. Set the slider switch on the Home Automation Remote to 1-8 to use the ON/OFF buttons to control the first eight Unit Codes, or 9-16 to control the next eight Unit Codes.

Note: It is not necessary to register the Home Automation remote with the security system.

Note: As with all RF transmitter devices; electrical fields, metal doors and appliances can cause interference that can decrease the strength of the transmitted signal. Re-orienting the transmitter or receiver console and antenna may increase your ability to send and receive the necessary signals. The receiver should be mounted as high as possible for best reception.
