5-One glass break detector will cover 24 foot of area your eyes can see, So About 3 Should Do It.
6-One motion will see 40 foot or where your eyes you can see. 1 On the first floor 1 in the basement.
7-Each opening should be protected from being pried opened so when the system is armed at night with no motions on as you will have when armed in stay mode no one can pry open a window and surprise you.
8-"This we do not need", so keep in mind window contacts and glass break detectors and only 1 or 2 motions as motions are useless at night.
